After breakfast you will be heading to Kitulgala. Bird watching and visit Beli lena caves. “This is a famous cave where the 12,000 year old skeletal remains of the Balangoda Man (Homosapiens Balangodensis) were found. Also found here are the waste parts of the food consumed by them. The floor is strewn with shells of river snails, which seems to have been a major part of their diet. This is a very large cave with a vast space inside where about a thousand people can gather easily.” Overnight stay at Kitulgala .
After breakfast white water Rafting at Kitugala. Evening at your leisure. “The Kelani river graded 2/3 rafting site stretches for six kilometers with seven exciting rapids namely, Teaser, Virgin’s Breast, Butter Crunch, Killer Fall, White Quarter, Head Chopper and Rafter’s Quarter. A briefing is given prior to running in the river with instructions on paddling techniques and “Man overboard Procedures “. Overnight stay at Kitulgala .
After breakfast you will be heading to Nuwaraeliya. En route visiting a Tea factory and Tea Plantation and some beautiful water falls. Evening visit the Hakgala botanical gardens. “The center of the hill country also called the “Hill station” in British colonial jargon. This ruggedly picturesque location almost 6200 feet in elevation with it’s soft English spring climate is very English in it’s landscape & buildings; which of course was started by the British, who made it their hill resort, during their rule in Sri Lanka, (then called Ceylon)”. After breakfast you will be leaving to Horton Plains. After breakfast you will be heading to the Nature Resort in Pinnawala. This Nature resort in situated in a calm and quite surrounding of 10 acres with a gorgeous river flowing across. After breakfast you will be heading to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.There you can spend about 4 hours with elephants. You will get the opportunity to feed them and bath them. You can enjoy an elephant ride as well. After spending 4 hours with elephants you will be heading down to the Resort. In the evening you will be given an Ayurvedic relaxing foot massage followed by a Steam Bath.
After breakfast you will be heading to an Ayurvedic Garden where the ingredients of Ayurvedic medicine are grown. There you will learn about Ayurveda and how they make the Ayurvedic Medicine by a multi language speaking Ayurvedic Lecturer. Furthermore you will be getting a complimentary Ayurvedic Massage from an Ayurvedic Student and you will enjoy a Cup of Ceylon Spice Tea. Also a traditional Sri Lankan cooking demonstration will be shown and you will get a chance to taste it as well. Next you will be heading to the Sri Lankan Gem Museum. A Calypso Band will entertain you while you have your dinner at the resort with Fire Lanterns
After breakfast you will have a village tour where you can learn about paddy cultivation and the village lifestyles of Sri Lankans. You will get a chance to visit the Temple of the village as well. This village called Ilukgoda is one of the most beautiful villages in Sri Lanka. Most of the Endemic Birds can be seen as well. You enjoy the rest of the evening with an Ayurvedic Relaxing Full Body Treatment. You will enjoy a special Ayurvedic and Organic Dinner in the pool side.
After breakfast you will be heading to The Charming Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya followed by The Temple of the Tooth. Next you will get a chance to walk around the World Heritage city Kandy. You will enjoy The Kandy View Point where you will be able to see the whole city at one picture frame. Before you get back to the Resort you will be getting a chance to watch The Cultural Kandyan Dance at teh Cultural Centre
